MY BLOG: Every day for a year.
Day 28. ‘Mud, throw, wall’

Getting back to the nitty-gritty of music stuff, so I have been poking at my newsletter today. I have to admit social media has somewhat rewired my brain to the extreme interactive nature of written chat. I haven’t sent out the newsletter as yet, mostly because it’s just staring back at me with zero ability to converse. I’m wondering if it’s become like the old fashioned handwritten letter. A dinosaur staring into the oncoming storm, but I like dinosaurs. 🙂 One of the most palpable aspects of performing live on stage is audience connection. The merging of a crowd to a single identity character and I have been very lucky through my time to be presented with the most splendid of these characters. I wouldn’t sing without the other half of the act, the audience. Just like I wouldn’t bake a cake for it not to be eaten. Well actually, I wouldn’t inflict my baking on anyone period, but I digress. It matters not what your chosen path is, I don’t believe a single soul can truly walk it alone and disconnected. I’ve become far more aware of that in the last month than over my life to date.
So this is your last chance to sign up for the aforementioned dinosaur newsletter before it goes out later today. Of course, there will be a bazillion other chancers between now and eternity to jump on board, but there’s no time like the present. A quick mention of the remix of Northern Star (I bought an acoustic bass and could not resist adding) and its inclusion to the webshop. This track picked up a songwriting award a little while ago and I have posted it before but not this remix version. If you like it, feel free to share it about. Even if you don’t, still feel free :p The old mud, throw, wall, philosophy.

To buy this song please go to my shop.  Thank you.
